Is PSA 9 worth collecting? Aug 20, 2021 Generally PSA 9's are valued the same or sometimes slightly higher than raw cards, but if you have been buying raw cards on eBay especially for non-brand-new sets PSA 9's are far better than the NM/Mint cards you can expect to receive.
Some modern cards will hold a very high value just because it is an extremely playable and sought after card for competitions. We saw this with tapu lele. And often happens with trainer cards. I agree! Am only buying PSA 9's right now, 10's are too expensive and illiquid. 9's have lots of liquidity and can be 1/3 of the price of a 10, and checking pop reports they're still pretty damn hard to hit.

Graded cards are generally worth more than their counterparts that aren't graded because graded cards have been examined, authenticated, and assigned a condition by an expert.
